Hey music lovers and Salvation Army Worship Band enthusiasts!
Remember when I talked about the scarcity of new hymns in the Salvation Army? Well, guess what? The scenario is entirely different when it comes to worship songs. The Canadian Territory is doing something amazing - they’re churning out new worship songs under the banner of “Salvation Worship”. This isn’t just a one-off thing; they’ve been at it since 2021 and are showing no signs of slowing down!
So, what’s cooking in their musical kitchen? They’re already on their 6th volume, each packed with about 5 soul-stirring songs. And the best part? These tunes are not just in English but also in French. How cool is that? I’m keeping my fingers crossed for Spanish versions too.
But wait, there’s more! Each song is like a treasure chest filled with goodies - lead sheets, chord charts, piano and brass charts, choral arrangements, lyrics, videos, multitracks, backing tracks, and mp3s. And guess how much it costs? Absolutely nothing! Yes, you read that right. It’s all free!
I’m super excited to share that I’ve also contributed to this amazing project. My arrangement, “WHO IS ON THE LORD'S SIDE?” is part of Volume 6. I can’t wait for you all to hear it.
